I haven't really shopped much since my boyfriend was in town, but I got these few things recently. I was in need of some new black pants and I am glad I found some at a decent price. I saw some at Express while my boyfriend was in town but the fabric was odd, it was like velvet, well I am sure it wasn't velvet, but it felt like velvet. It was way too thick to be wearing in the summer! I mean, if you are going to wear black in the summer you want something lightweight, so I searched out for something that I could wear and not be too hot in. I also found some lightweight shirts, perfect for summer! The two tank tops were from a store called COTTON ON, I had never been there before but they had some cute stuff and after spending way too much money that day, I decided to pick up these two shirts on sale to pair with some beach wear or a maxi skirt. I personally don't mind wearing black in the summer, especially at night.
On another note: I am looking at flights again, I swear I would have so many points with as many times I have flown since last December. I was so afraid I wasn't going to get my Kittehn and now I think I have a chance to. I've been upset because I was under the impression lately that she was gonna have to go to a shelter, and I couldn't live with myself knowing she did, not happily at least, so my only option is to go get her and bring her back here and have her wait it out at my grandmothers till I get my own place. Hopefully it all falls into place.
And last but not least, my grandmother is known to rescue animals, she cares for them and finds them GOOD homes, not homes that will tie them to a tree and leave them outside in harsh Texas weather. So today she got a call that her neighbor across the street had found just one kitten in the ditch. Not a family. Not four, not more, just one kitten, all by herself, crying. So we got her and put her on the deck, my grandmother has too many new dogs inside that would harm her because they aren't use to cats like her original dogs, so right now she sits on the deck in a crate. I'm sure she will be brought inside once we can get her situated, but as for now, she has to stay in a crate to keep whatever roams at night away from her. It makes me sad to think she has no family, and my Kittehn just had her 4 kittens and they are about the same size. If only they were in Texas. Poor thing needs a bath.
