Easy lollipops

This is a fun, quick and easy way to make some cute lollipops. I made these with a 3 year old little girl, it was fun for her, and easy for me to keep her little hands busy. It's pretty basic and simple, even the most "non-creative" could make these! So here is what you will need
  • lollipop sticks
  • white chocolate morsels
  • semi-sweet or milk chocolate morsels
  • sprinkles
  • food coloring
  • bowls for melting
  • wax paper or parchment paper
  • several spoons depending on how many colors you make
  • cellophane or Ziploc bags.

Melt chocolate in a small bowl, I just use the microwave, but you can use a double boiler. Divide the white chocolate in several bowls if you are going to color them, add food coloring and stir quickly. I started off with just pink and blue, then later on I added blue to the pink, and green to the blue to get different colors without the extra bowls.

Spoon chocolate onto silpat or wax paper, you can use a table spoon measure to get same sized lollies. Quickly add sticks and give them a little twist to cover up the white and set them in place. Decorate with sprinkles, nuts, dried fruit, or whatever you like.

Let harden and wrap in cellophane or store in a Ziploc bag in a cool, dry place.

    1. They didn't come out as great as i would have liked, but then again I was trying to make it simple for the 4 year old! But they can definitely made with so many different sprinkles/toppings and kinds of chocolate.
